Jolanda is a visual artist working with different media as drawing, painting, graphic technics, ceramics and textile.

Jolanda Linssen finished her Master’s degree in Fine Arts at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam (1997), after her previous diploma as a first-degree teacher of drawing, painting and graphic technics at the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht (1995).

Since 1997 she has been working as an independent visual artist.

Since 1998 she has been teaching drawing, painting and graphics to children and adults as an independent art teacher.

In 2021 she got a fund of ‘Makersloket’ (Foundation Droom & Daad) to create an hugh ‘WALL TAPESTRY’ for a primary school in Rotterdam. The tapestry will be crafted in a artisan weaver studio in Marocco. In 2022 the tapestry is installed in the stairway of a school for a long-term loan.
